I have also migrated some websites to BlueHost from other hosting providers. So, in this review I gonna talk about pros and cons about BlueHost. Let’s get started with BlueHost review!
Pros of BlueHost
Server performance is one of the most important facts when it’s comes to web hosting. BlueHost’s server performance is outstanding. Their server uptime is 99.98% which higher than the 99.90% industry standard. Also recently they have upgraded their server park (“Bluerock servers”) to improve the page loading speed even more.

As many other competitor hosting companies, BlueHost also offers 30 day money back guarantee. This is a great opportunity for you try BlueHost. They won’t charge you throughout your first 30 days if you decide cancel within that time period. However there are some terms apply if you want a refund.
Cons of BlueHost
Customer Service Mixed Reviews
BlueHost customer service has kind of mixed reviews. Their customer support is not quick compared to other competitors like SiteGround’s customer support. But they’ll definitely help you to solve your issue. Also, they got nice documentation articles and videos on their YouTube channel.
Site Migrations Aren’t Free
Most of the web hosting companies offer one-time free site migration service, if you have already hosted your site on somewhere else. But unfortunately BlueHost doesn’t provide that service for free. They charge a ‘migration fee’ of $149.99 to do that and they will not transfer more than 5 sites and 20 email accounts.
Pricing Can Be Tricky
Their cheapest introductory plan ($2.95 a month) comes with a few strings attached. Means, to purchase the hosting plan at $2.95 monthly rate, you’ll have to pay for the 36-months. If you decide to pay for the first 12 months, then the rate will jumps up to $3.95 per month.
BlueHost Hosting Plans
Bluehost provides three shared hosting options to choose from.
|Website Space||50 GB||Unmetered||Unmetered|
|Email Storage||100 MB per account||Unlimited||Unlimited|
|Site Backup||—||—||Site Backup|
However please note that advertised pricing above is a low introductory rate for a three year term. Rates for shorter plans are more and you can’t get anything lower than 12 months.
